Classic Chinese food in classic Chinese restaurant setting. Definitely going back!

This is the best chow main ive had at a thai restaurant west of the Mississippi and oh boy have i been to a lot of those places. The waitress served my sister 8 glasses of water with a smile which pleased me because i had 15. A dirty napkin handed to my dads gf and the lack of fortune cookies at the end of our meal was unfortunate though. I was kinda expecting fortune cookies since ive gotten them at restaurants like this before but of well. We settled for the Tootsie rolls in a glass basket at the front instead.

Best thai food in boise

The staff were very nice and welcoming. The service was quick and prompt. Can't say much about every dish but the beef noodle soup (Pho) I tried was different, kind of on the bland side.

Great food, good prices

Staff was wonderful, friendly and paced just right. Didn't feel rushed but didn't feel forgotten either. Pot stickers were delicious! The decor is dated but isn't bad. It gives it more of an authentic off the beaten path feeling. I have no complaints. The main dish didn't wow me, otherwise I'd give it a 5 star. But I'd definitely return.

THE BEST Thai food I had...but what I am specially impressed about that since I am allergic to garlic, and usually have very limited dishes to chose from in most restaurants, and out of all places, they had absolutely no issues preparing ANYTHING on the menu without garlic!!! And so far I tired three dishes, aaaall were outstanding, delicious!!!! Thank you!!!

I was surprised that this place was busy at 1:30 on a Wednesday. The decor is dated, but the food was fantastic. Lunch special was a lot of food for $7.95! Will definitely be back to try more!

My first time and an amazing meal. The pad tai was one of the best we had ever had. A selection of items that you cannot find elsewhere in Boise. The service was exquisite, prop, friendly, and attentive. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to others. Thanks for the wonderful dining experience!

Best whole fish my wife ever had. My dish was great! Hot and sour soup top notch. A clear winner.

The fresh rolls, Pad Kee Mao, and the Chiang Mai fried rice are delicious! Atmosphere is decent, not amazing or awful.

Great spot for lunch. Pad Thai was great with the fried tofu option. Prices are great, plenty of seating, and friendly staff. Will definitely go back for lunch.

I love this restaurant SO MUCH. Everything is always delicious, and we always leave absolutely stuffed. My favorites are their fresh spring rolls, the larb, and the pad kra pao.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place has some seriousely authentic Thai food and great prices. Come inside and be rewarded.

The Tom Kah Kai and Hot & Sour soup are very good here. The prices may seem a bit steep at first but the portions are ample.

Had the generals chicken it is amazing as were the dishes that the others in my party had. The service was really fast and the wait staff is friendly and helpful we usually order off the lunch menu but they were able to help us order so we got everything we where looking for and servers were very pleasant

The young man (Eric) in the front is very friendly. The Chiang Me is delicious without all the carbs. Tom Khai soup is delicious but it needs more chicken. The chicken satay is chewy. Chicken is tough. Needs some tenderizing like the baking soda which the chinese use for their meat.

Looks pretty simple on the outside but extremely good fresh food. Thank you. Excellent.

Love this place! The family dinner/combo gives my family left overs to take home and everyone loves it! Best Thai food in the treasure valley. We come from Nampa because nothing in our area compares.

Awesome hole in the wall Asian joint. Great lunch specials with large portions and incredible flavor. The dining area could use a bit extra cleaning and maybe a decor facelift, but if you get past those minor details, it's a good place to get a meal.

Best Thai Food in Boise. This is the most authentic Thai food flavors We have had since relocating from Asia. Tom Yong soup was perfect blend of spicy and delicious. Customer service a little sketchy today, but food is off the hook! You owe it to yourself to try this place as a special reward.

We love bringing our family here and sharing the family dinners. The Tom Kha Kai soup is soooo good!!! It comes in a fun warmer too that they light. Great food, great service. We love this place! They also offer great gluten free options on almost all dishes!!

We have had lunch there many times and have never been disappointed. We love there food. Older structure, but good food and nice people.

Great sauces cool old school atmosphere

Normally, Chiang Mai is super flavorful and has fast friendly service but today wasn't the case. The Cha Gior was overcooked and the lettuce was obviously old and wilty. The Pad Woonsen had very little flavor and the chicken was also over cooked. The service was extremely slow and hurried when they were taking our order or bringing our meal. We'll be back but going to give it a bit.

It's okay Thai food, but I've had much better. Pad Thai looks like some kind of fake food coloring is used or something. Just not that good. I've had other dishes and they were pretty mediocre. Took a long time for a to go order. 30 min. That's too long.

CONSISTENTLY the best Thai food in Boise. The lunch prices are excellent for the large portion and no extra charge for fresh fried rice. Work nearby and eat here 2-3 times per month and it's always the same: fresh, clean, delicious, friendly, quick service. Keep it up!

Great food and friendly staff! Whether it is dine in or take away we always enjoy Chiang Mai!

Bit of a wait to be severed but worth it. We were seated quickly and once we ordered the food came out pretty quick. Everything was delicious. The building is a little older but it's comfy and homey. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ordered take out. All dishes had great flavor and appealing appearance. Miss the side of brocolli, but did include in one of the dishes.

We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. My wife loved the Pad Thai. I had sweet and sour chicken and it was good too. They were out of pot stickers. (which must mean they were good) The building is a little run down but was clean and the service was good.
